Cross-Angeles Postdoc Picnic

The Los Angeles area Postdoctoral Associations are getting together to host a potluck picnic at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, in celebration of National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) 2019. Bring your family and friends – and a signature dish to share if you have one. You can also run, walk, ride a bike, fly a kite and even look for urban wildlife such as birds traveling down the Pacific flyway.

Location: Los Angeles State Historic Park (1245 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012) | The park is located just a mile away from the Los Angeles Union Station and can be accessed via the Chinatown LA Metro stop.


At the park: The Interpretive Media Laboratory (IMLab) is a new joint program of the UCLA Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance (REMAP) and the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation. Its focus is to research, develop and maintain innovative interpretive approaches for the new Los Angeles State Historic Park.
